Seems like a strange name for a craft blog, right? Well, I have always felt a little bit shy, or afraid to share my creativenss. When making something fabulous and someone compliments me, I usually play it off like it is no big deal. I have been a 'closet crafter' for too long! No more apologies! No more excuses! I love to craft and I am not ashamed!

Card Holder - Duct Tape Style!

So sorry for the lack of posts this past week.  Life has been crazy, and I haven't had a lot of time to post!  Thanks for understanding! :)
~
Alrighty, now on to some fun!
I am not normally into this kind of craft.  I am not a duct tape connoisseur.  I do not use duct tape for everything.  I just thought this might be cute :)
I was inspired by a gift my daughter made for her daddy for Father's Day - a duct tape wallet.  What man doesn't need one of those?!?!  I figured if she could do it, it couldn't be that hard!  I just had to come up with my own spin on it!
I have a ton of 'store cards'.  You know, the kind that help you save money.  I have a lot of those!  They are usually all bunched up in my purse.  I figured I could use a cute card holder.  You could even use this style for Credit Cards if you wanted.
I have also had this cute clear tape from Micheal's (Dollar Section, of course!) for a while and haven't known what to do with it.  Light bulb!  Use it with white duct tape!  Yahoo!  Now we get to play!
Supplies:  Duct tape, decorative tape, scissors or xacto knife, cutting mat.

Hopefully all these steps make sense!

Repeat this step a few more times.  I originally did my sheets 4x6 but realized that they were too long.  You will want them to be approx. 4x5.

It may look a little complicated, but it really only took 30-40 minute to put together.  I think it turned out pretty cute.  I also don't think it looks too much like duct tape.
What do you think?
